TU Published the Exam Center Notice for Masters Level 1st Year | Faculties of Humanities, Management, Law and Education 2070

Tribhuvan University TU OCE today, published the exam center notice for Masters level first year examinations including chance examination of the faculties of Humanities, Management, Law and Education.

The exams are going to held from Mangsir 21, 2070.

The exams will be held from 11 am (Morning) to 3 pm.

Binita Baral spent time with disable children in Khokana

Actress Binita Baral vistied Disable Student Hostel in Khokna and spent some quality time with the children there.

As they are less fortunate to have everything we have, Binita says that they deserve more love  and facilities than we do. She also asks not to misuse disability identification cards. Here are some photos Binita took with the children in the hostel.

Police raid Babylon disco, Nearly 300 students were arrested

KATHMANDU: Nearly 300 students were arrested in Babylon Disco of Sundhara on Friday morning at 10 am in a series of raids on dance bars, discos and restaurants of the capital. The raids were carried out two days after the police swooped down on X Bar in Sundhara and other dance bars on Wednesday.

The students were caught in their college and school uniforms when the police entered the bars accompanied by media persons. Students are of Sigma, Redhon, Youth Vision, Siddharth Banasthali, Golden Academy, Caspian, Prime, Nobel British Gurkha Academy and NCC among other colleges and schools in the capital. The discos usually organise parties on Friday targeting students who bunk classes to attend them.

The students have been taken into custody in Hanuman Dhoka Metropolitan Police Range and Nepal Police Club of Exhibition Road. Police said that the students were caught consuming alcoholic drinks and drugs.

It is reported that the police has begun its investigation into the incident. The proprietor of one of the discotheques has also been arrested. According to the police, the students would be subjected to medical tests for alcohol and drugs.

Young entrepreneurs Ritesh Marwadi of We Fear Silence Pvt. Ltd and Ravi Singhal from Social Aves Pvt Ltd managed to reach the Top 7 at the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards in Calcutta this week. The duo who were representing Nepal faced a tough competition against young entrepreneurs from over 40 countries. The winning entrepreneur will go onto receive exposure, professional contacts and US $10,000 cash prize.

Ritesh Marwadi from We Fear Silence has been organizing events of various types in Nepal for more than a year. From invitees only events to new years parties with international DJ’s, Ritesh has quickly built a name for his company and himself. The young entrepreneur is also currently in full-time education. During the initial round, Ritesh came second from Nepal with Ravi Singhal clinching the first position as the lead representative from Nepal. Singhal’s company Social Aves is the first social media company of Nepal. The duo will be heading back to Kathmandu on Monday.
