Actress Sumina Ghimire has admitted that she is not a virgin. In an interview published in ‘Kamana’ monthly, Sumina has admitted that she is no longer a virgin.
This statement of not being virgin is linked with a couple of previous incidents in which she was found with producers of the movies she did. During the shooting of ‘Rang’ she was found in the producer Roshan Hamal’s room. In a latest incident, she was caught while travelling secretly to Malaysia with the producer of her movie ’9 O’clock’, Ramesh Sambedana.
Sumina debuted in ‘Chhabilal Kanjus Chaina’ and a lot of movies followed. Some of the movies she did include ‘Sadak’, ‘Kina Mayama’, ‘Dulahi’, ‘Timro Lagi’, ‘My Brother’, ‘Hello Prakriti’, ‘Rang’, ’9 O’clock’.

Diya Maskey, an actress and a serious dancer
Actress Diya Maskey is considered one of the most serious actress in Nepali movie industry. An excellent dancer, Diya, thinks acting is a form of art and likes to take challenges.
In an interview published in a weekly magazine, actress Diya Maskey has told that she considers herself as an artist and feels odd when people address her as an actress. Maskey says, "I know, the word artist has a much wider meaning and actress usually means glamour, show-off and like that. Artists however, have all of them in them."
When she started acting, she used to think that the actresses were nothing but a glamorous item. But, after entering the field she has realized that acting is much more than that.
Dancing and Acting
Diya is considered one of the the most serious actress in Nepali movie industry. She has done memorable acting in ‘Kagbeni’, ‘Sanghuro’ and ‘Soongava’. The movie ‘Soongava’ was selected in Nepal to participate in the Oscars.
Diya is also a very serious dancer. She is a trained Kathak and Bharat Natyam dancer. She had completed Masters in Kathak dance from Allahabad University. When she was little she had danced as a child artist in Tulsi Ghimire‘s ‘Dui Thopa Aansu’. The song ‘Jun Ta Lagyo Tara le … ‘ was one of the most popular songs of the movie.

Diya credits Amar Sishu School for creating interest in dancing in her early years. She credits director Anup Baral for introducing her in acting field. Diya’s upcoming movie ‘Fitkiree’, directed by Anup Baral is one of the most awaited upcoming movies.
In a television serial, ‘Dalan’ Diya was featured as an elder woman. The actress in early 20s she was featured as a typical village woman – without any glamour.

Karishma dilemma – daughter’s birthday or Qatar program
Actress Karishma Manandhar is in a dilemma after realizing that the day she is flying to Qatar for a program is actually her daughter Kabita’s birthday. Kabita is coming home from the USA on the same day to celebrate the big day with her parents. Kabita is arriving home on December 17. On the same day, Karishma is leaving for Qatar.
Karishma realized that the day was Kabita’s birthday only when the daughter called her. While Kabita is flying all the way from the USA to celebrate the birthday, Karishma is the main guest in the program being held in Qatar. Karishma asks Nepali to vote the ‘right person’ for Constitutional Assembly Election on Mangsir 4, 2070
Nepali actress Karishma Manandhar has asked all Nepali youth to vote for the person who they believe can work for the country. Karishma told, "Although I have never voted before, I registered my name on the last day to vote this time."
Karishma is not affiliated any political parties and she is one of the few artists who haven’t joined political parities. She is not endorsing any candidate. In her Facebook post Karishma said, "Everybody should use their citizenship rights and vote in the election." She asked to prefer women candidates to vote in the election.

Priyanka Karki visits Life Vision Academy
Actress Priyanka Karki had celebrated her birthday in February with the kids of Life Vision Academy, Bhaktapur. It seems, the kids have won her hearts and she has visited the academy again. Like in the previous visit, Priyanka also gave presents to the kids.
Priyanka shared the following photo of a very thankful little girl who kissed on her cheek.
During the birthday celebration, Priyanka had told about the love of 38 kids of the academy and she told that it was ‘the best birthday ever’.
Priyanka says she has visited Life Vision Academy, Bhaktapur. The school educates and takes care of children of rape victims.

A well known actress and model of music videos, Shilpa Pokharel is going to debut in big screen Nepali movie in Chhabi Raj Ojha’s ‘Lazza’. Chhabi is known to introduce successful actors and actresses in the past. Shilpa’s opposite in the movie Aryan Sigdel was also introduced by Chhabi in the past.
